There is no other month like December for making crafts!!  Giving and receiving hand-made gifts are an all time favorite for most of us.  We have many new kits and page layouts in the store that are sure to inspire you this holiday season.  Looking for a quick and easy, yet darling, home decor project?  Look no further!  Dee S. has created yet another "blocks" kit just in time for the holidays!  Come in to Pink and grab your "JOY" kit while supplies last.

Kid's LOVE to craft too!  We will have aprons and tool belts ready to decorate with fabric, ribbon, rhinestones, fabric paint, flowers and more set up in our crop room all week for the kids to make.  This is a "drop in" craft that will be easy for kids and moms to do together.  Cost of the craft is just $5 and will include the apron, or tool belt, and any supplies from the back table that the kids choose to use.

    The new issue of Paper Crafts magazine (Jan/Feb 2010) has arrived!  Insider secrets for creating 120 projects like a pro!  Vintage Valentines and Hot Tips for coloring with markers in this great magazine.

Come spend a relaxing afternoon learning to carve your own stamps.  April Meeker will guide you though the process of hand carving rubber stamps.  It's easier than you think! If you can color, you can carve!  For demonstration, April will be carving a custom monogram stamp, but please feel free to be creative and pick your own image.  Students will carve a stamp and use their stamps to create handmade cards. 

Please bring: a fairly simple image no larger than 3X3" that you would like to carve, an X-acto knife and any scrap booking items you might like to use to create your cards.

It is that time of year again, where we give gifts of the best kind….handmade!!!  Join us for a day filled with 5 different gift making classes for only $75.00!  You will be creating a variety of projects from home décor gifts, to mementos that will hold photos of holiday memories.  During class we will listen to music, drink warm apple cider, and eat holiday sweets.  There will be a 30 minute break for lunch and at the end of the event, you can stay till 6:00pm and crop for FREE!!!  Sign up early to save your spot for this once a year event!

The Angel's Depot Food Drive

Pink Pineapple Scrapbooks is sponsoring a food drive for The Angel's Depot.  Our elderly should not be going hungry. We will have donation buckets at our store from Monday, November 9th to Friday, November 20th.  Pick up will be at 3:00 on Friday, November 20th.  Store hours are 11-6 each day, except some Sundays our store is closed.

Why we need YOUR help......The Angel's Depot provides FREE food for senior citizens, who live on $950 or less per month.  "Senior Food-for-a-Week" 21-Meal Emergency Boxes contain 21 nutritious, nonperishable meals, which provides food security until the senior's next Social Security check arrives.  50,000 senior citizens live in poverty in San Diego County.  Our work will not be finished until there are no more seniors living with the pain and shame of hunger.  The Angel's Depot is a nonprofit corporation; your donations are tax deductible.

Donna Salazar Make & Take Thursday & Awesome Classes This Weekend!

Come join this fun swap where you make up to 12 of the same hair accessory, embellished with at least one scrapbooking item.  We will meet on Sunday, November 15^th, and trade our projects with a maximum of 11 other people, so you will leave with up to 12 different hair accessories!!!  Please call the store to find out how many sign-ups there are, so you know how many hair accessories to make.  You can keep some for yourself, and save the others for small Christmas gifts...they will be perfect for stocking stuffers!  As a bonus you will receive 2 gift boxes that will fit the smaller items, and learn how to make origami boxes.  Photos will be taken of the final projects and submitted to a magazine.  Can’t wait to see what you create!

This chunky minibook is all about enjoying the little things in life.  You can add highlights from a trip or day, you want to remember, and the photos are complimented by the bright happy colors of the “Me Likey” Sassafras Lass paper line.  Inside this book you will find the cutest little bumble bees, made out of felt!!!  There is also fabric, ribbon, stickles, liquid pearls, and some sewing, as we piece these different shaped pages together.  To top it off, there is a matching fabric pouch, and this mini fits perfectly inside, to keep it looking new!  This is a great Christmas gift, or the perfect way to treat yourself to a minibook you are sure to love!!!  If you can't make the class, this minibook is a great take home kit :)

Please bring: scissors (that can cut through thick chipboard), fast drying craft glue (I used “The Ultimate Glue”), glue dots (mini and regular), pop-up foam squares, black fine tip sharpee, crop-a-dile, zyron 150 (or adhesive for ribbon), tape runner (or adhesive for paper), stickels (I used spiced marmalade, yellow, turquoise, & lime green), liquid pearls (I used ruby red), sanding block, and if you have it:  a sewing machine, and 7 photos 2 inches wide or smaller, (so you can sew directly on the photos).

Experiment with Copic Markers, Two-tone stamping, and other cutting edge products & techniques. Learn tricks for making the most of your supplies and getting your pages done in a jiffy. We’ll take a break in the middle to stretch and get lunch. Garage Sale Excitement Is In The Air!!

It's that time of year again ladies, when we rummage through all of our goodies and part with things we just don't need.....so we can buy the new product we so desperately want!!  Sellers, if this sounds like YOU, call the store and sign up to "trade in" your stash for store credit "cash!"  For just a mere $5 you will be provided with 90 bar-code labels.   Use the labels to price your scrapbooking supplies, and bring your items to us no later than Thursday, November 5th by 5pm.  Then, WHAMO....your job is done!!  We will then sort through the product and set up everything in our crop room with other "like" items.  There is no need to come and "man" a station!!  You will receive 100% of your sales dollars back in Pink Pineapple Scrapbooks store credit. 

Our Seller's ALWAYS have the best product and the lowest prices!!  The Buyer's go nuts for all the good deals!!  Doors will open early Saturday, November 7th at 8am, the line forms early...so grab your Starbucks and wallet and run over to Pink!!
